Lifetime guarantee

All the recordings produced by Rocinante Studios come with the lifetime guarantee. If you’re not happy with your recording, we will work with you until you’re fully satisfied with it.

Booking a session

All sessions should be booked via email: campbell@rocinantestudios.com. Once your session is booked, you will be informed if any deposit is required to confirm the booking. Your booking is not valid until you’ve received a booking confirmation. Because we’re a small studio, we may request that you provide us with a link to your public social identity i.e Soundcloud, Twitter, LinkedIn. It’s our way of protecting ourselves from scammers.

Paying for your session

We currently accept PayPal and Square payments. PayPal incurs a fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction. Square incurs a fee of 2.5% per swiped transaction or 3.5% plus $0.15 per keyed-in transaction. Monies are due at the end of the session.

Referral offer

If you recommend a friend or a colleague to record at our studio, and they confirm their booking, you will receive a 20% discount off your next session.

Rescheduling or canceling the session

Life happens. Deposits are fully transferable if you have to cancel and reschedule your session for any reason. It’s no fun recording if you’re hungover or just got dumped by your girlfriend. Focus on songwriting then. Deposits are also fully refundable minus a payment method fee if the session is cancelled more than 48h in advance. Flexibility is our middle name.

Your music

Once monies are paid, your tracks belong to you and you only. If you’re working with Campbell Wilson of Rocinante Studios in the producer capacity (i.e. developing a song from a sketch, co-writing), you may be asked to discuss producer credits at booking. There’s plenty of free parking on the street. Or you can park on our super long driveway.

Beverages, snacks, misc

We serve fruit-infused water, tea and coffee. If you feel, you’ve done a good job - beer or wine may be served. Please request your snack variety in advance. Feel free to relax in our recreational room next to the studio that features comfy chairs, a record player with a wild, yes - wild, selection of records, as well as a big collection of superhero comics. No smoking anywhere on premises. Cheese - at your own peril.
